Halifax, NS: The Atlantic Institute for Market Studies (AIMS) is delighted to welcome Dr. Robert Murray as the Institute’s new Senior Fellow. Dr. Murray resides in Edmonton, Alberta, where he is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Alberta and the Vice-President of Research at the Frontier Centre for Public Policy.
For the past two decades, AIMS has solidified itself as a distinctive Atlantic Canadian voice on public policy and set the benchmark by drawing together forward-looking ideas available some of the world’s foremost experts and applying that thinking to the challenges facing Canadians. Bridging the gap between Atlantic Canadians and their counterparts in the West, therefore, facilitates a more comprehensive analysis of Canadian public policy.
“Robert Murray is a fresh voice among Canadian public intellectuals. His views and commentaries on international issues and foreign policy are well regarded. Adding him to the many outstanding minds already affiliated with AIMS increases our ability to provide innovative ideas and better policy alternatives for Atlantic Canadians with insight and clarity,” said Dr. Marco Navarro-Genie, President and CEO of AIMS.
Dr. Robert W. Murray is a blogger for e-International Relations and a Columnist for Troy Media. He holds a BA in History from Brock University, an MA in Political Science from Brock University, and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Alberta.
