The CBC mentioned AIMS in a Friday news report on the upcoming Supreme Court case on interprovincial trade barriers. AIMS, along with the Montreal Economic Institute and the Canadian Constitution Foundation, commissioned an Ipsos poll of Canadians asking whether they should be allowed to bring any legally purchased product from one province to another, as well as whether they should be able to bring any amount of beer or wine they buy in one province into another.

“It found 89 per cent of respondents think they should be allowed to bring any legally purchased product from one province to another, while 78 per cent said they think they should be able to bring any amount of beer or wine they buy in one province into another.”
