Here in the East we continue to deal with low wages, less than ideal working conditions and pockets of unemployment in the midst of a booming economy. However, if one listens to the experts they will quickly learn that the labour shortage is already here, and it is bound to get worse.

Labour group urges N.S. to reject trade deal
The Canadian Labour Congress is telling the provincial governments not to sign on to the TILMA, recently signed between BC and Alberta. AIMS points out such a suggestion is short-sighted and provinces are better off signing this interprovincial free trade deal early.
