In this paper, written for the Association for Canadian Studies in the United States, author Stephen Blank takes a detailed look at the trade corridors that span the length of North America. That system of supply chains has served North America well, making it one of the strongest and most deeply integrated systems in the world. However, he explains there are significant challenges facing Canada, Mexico and the United States if North America is to keep the competitive edge it has gained as a result of these corridors.
