Canada’s geographic location makes it an ideal entry point for shipping traffic coming from the busiest ports in China and Europe, but not enough is being done to exploit our advantage. A report released by the Conference Board of Canada says that Canada needs to work to harmonize industry regulation across North America and rethink its port strategy if it is going to become a North American Gateway.
