Atlantic Business magazine’s list of the biggest business newsmakers of 2007 was compiled by a seven-person panel of media experts from across Atlantic Canada. Drawing on their own knowledge and research, each panel member based their choices on two key criteria. First, that the story had generated significant press coverage during the past year, and second, that the story had regional significance or impact.
Atlantic “Discord” ranked number one, but there among the leaders was AIMS’ Atlantica concept. In an article titled “Unlocking the Atlantic Gateway”, AIMS was given credit for the concept and its research in showing the benefits of Atlantica for the region.
