Fifteen years ago, the founding directors of AIMS decided there was a need for a distinctive Atlantic Canadian voice on public policy matters. AIMS has been that and more. It is the winner of four Sir Antony Fisher International Memorial Awards for excellence in think tank publications, and a recipient of the Templeton Freedom Award for Institute Excellence – no think tank in the world has received more international acclaim. And while that international recognition is laudable, it is the work AIMS does here at home that counts.
This Beacon highlights the work conducted by AIMS in a variety of public policy areas. And it launches the first annual fund-raising campaign for donors.
