On November 1st, the Atlantic Institute for Market Studies, the Canadian Constitutional Foundation, and the Montreal Economic Institute joined together to organize a one day conference in Ottawa on interprovincial trade in Canada. The first of it’s kind, this event filled the otherwise absent void regarding significant dialogue on the issue of interprovincial trade.

The conference hosted a number of notable names addressing participants, including (but not limited to) keynote speaker Andrew Coyne, columnist at the National Post, and panelists James Moore, industry minister from 2013 to 2015; Darrell Dexter, Nova Scotia premier from 2009 to 2013; and Martha Hall Findlay, president of the Canada West Foundation and former Liberal MP from 2008 to 2011.

We are one country. We should be one market. United we trade!
