John Kennedy - Intern
John recently joined AIMS in May 2010 as their Manning Centre Policy Intern. He is working on a number of projects that include the AIMS Annual Nova Scotia Municipal Performance Report, the effects and reliance of gas tax revenues, and commentaries on New Brunswick/Nova Scotia Fiscal Policies and youth retention strategies for Nova Scotia.
Prior to working at AIMS, John was an intern in the Advertising and Market Research division of the Prime Minister’s Office and a Research Assistant at the Laurier Institute for the Study of Public Opinion and Policy. He is going into the last year at Wilfrid Laurier University for an Honours Research Specialization degree in Political Science and History with a focus on Public Opinion.
