Atlantic Chair, Institute of Corporate Directors - Atlantic Chapter
Elaine Sibson, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, has been a practicing accountant providing tax and advisory services since 1974 as a partner with Coopers & Lybrand in 1987 and as it transitioned to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, electing to retire in 2006. After a short period in the PWC Barbados office, she returned to Canada and completed the Institute of Corporate Directors program.
Elaine is currently working with Dalhousie University to help them establish a Centre for Family Business, is Atlantic Chair of the Atlantic Chapter of the Institute of Corporate Directors, and was recently named Chair of the Nova Scotia Workers’ Compensation Board, and to the Nova Scotia Power Board of Directors.
