Fae Shaw is a Partner with McInnes Cooper's Halifax, Nova Scotia office, focusing on business law and corporate finance. She advises a variety of clients on general corporate and commercial matters and regularly assists clients with securities law compliance and enforcement issues. Fae is recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for her Banking Law, Corporate Law and Securities Law practices.
In addition, Fae is the Nova Scotia editor of Butterworths Canadian Forms and Precedents - "Private Placements". She is a Director and Past President of Entrepreneurs' Forum of Nova Scotia, and a Past Director of the Halifax YWCA and the Victoria General Hospital Foundation. Actively involved in the professional community, Fae is Secretary of the Atlantic Institute for Market Studies and Past Chair of the Securities Law section of the Canadian Bar Association, Nova Scotia branch.
