Doug brings a wealth of experience, including 25 years as a managing director of investment banking within the RBC Financial Group. In his time in Toronto, he acquired extensive experience in all aspects of corporate finance. As well, Doug has a good understanding of public-private dealings through work with provincial governments, Crown Corporations and the federal government on a wide variety of projects.
He currently sits on four other business boards, and has had as a longstanding involvement on the Board of the United Way of Halifax Region and the IWK Health Centre Foundation.
He has a Bachelor of Arts and Science from Queen’s University, an MBA from the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario and a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
