Julia Witt is Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba in the Department of Economics. Her area of specialization is Health Economics. Her current research includes the recruitment and retention of doctors and nurses, measuring the quality of care, occupational choices of nursing graduates, discrete choice experiments, and the effects of domestic violence on households.

She has authored a number of papers for AIMS and the Canadian Health Care Consensus Group. She is AIMS Fellow in Pharmaceutical Policy.
